" Żaden człowiek nie ustanowi innego fundamentu od tego, który został ustanowiony, którym jest Jezus Chrystus. Lecz po Chrystusie fundamentem jest Piotr i chyba,  że jest to przez Piotra,  

nie dosięgnie nikt Chrystusa. 

Chociaż heretycy mówią o Chrystusie i przechwalają się, że podążają za Jego słowem i doktryną, niemniej jednak nieuniknionym jest, iż ( jak twierdzi Leon Wielki ) wyrzuceni  są z tajemnicy boskiej, którzy ośmielili się oddalić od solidności (kamienia węgielnego) Piotra."

“No man can place another foundation, apart from that which has been placed, which is Christ Jesus.” 7 But after Christ, the foundation is Peter, and unless it is through Peter, one does not reach unto Christ. Although the heretics talk about Christ, and boast that they follow his word and doctrine, nevertheless it is unavoidable that, as Leo the Great says, one is exiled from the divine mystery who will have dared to recede from solidity of Peter.
